Chris Brookens, a self taught cinematographer, editor, and videographer. The passion for video and cinema started at childhood, and has been consistent through his adult years. Chris has been framing, filming, and editing since 2007, working with many different people, small, and large businesses. As technology and technique advance, so has Chris’ passion and skill set for the art of visual storytelling. Learning and incorporating new skills including sound design, operating cinema cameras, lighting, and becoming an FAA certified drone pilot, allow for more dynamic visuals and limitless possibilities.

Recently founding the film production company, Arc Engine Films, LLC, has allowed Chris to build a team of passionate and talented filmmakers with similar goals of producing professional work. Although the ability to work well and efficiently within a team is clear, for a majority of his career, Chris has been considered a “one man film crew.” With knowledge and experience at all levels and different departments of the film world. Over 15 years of video editing experience, gave Chris the opportunity to developed a unique storytelling ability that has granted him the opportunity to work with brands like CNN, NBC Sports, and Hologic Inc.
